In case you didn't notice today- its a bit hot out. Actually, seems we had the hottest day since August 2001 ! We hit triple digits, at Central Park and area airports. Keep in mind- when its this hot , keep hydrating, try to stay indoors w/air conditioning, avoid strenuous activity-and try to be out off peak hours (early morning, late evenings). Check up on your neighbors-especially if they're older , kids and keep an eye on your pets as well. If you need to find a cooling center near you- call 311 for more information.
