Two Terrific Tuesday Events in Manhattan ! Museum Mile Festival & #140conf Internet Week Cocktail Party

Today is the Museum Mile Festival in New York City. Museum Mile is the corridor along fifth avenue from 82nd Street until 105th street-with museums including the Metropolitan Museum of Art (one of my personal favorites) , The Guggenheim, El Museo del Barrio and others.

From 6-9PM , the street will be closed to traffic, and free admission to nine of our finest cultural institutions ! Music, art ,what more could you ask for ? There's a special kick off in front of El Museo del Barrio, celebrating its 45th anniversary and recent renovation, there's a FABULOUS exhibit at the Met currently of Picasso's works....go forth and explore, and its budget friendly aka free ( Highly encourage you to support our fabulous cultural institutions in New York City when you can !)

For more information -check out their website,at www.museummilefestival.org.

This week is also Internet Week in New York City. Many events for those in the industry,or those who are curious and passionate about it. For more information on Internet Week-check out www.internetweekny.com. However, tonight, there's a cocktail party, that is sort of a continuation of Jeff Pulver's marvelous work, with the #140 conference (meetup and conferences, quite literally around the world). A phenomenal group of people, from all areas of life, finding ways to connect, engage and make a difference. For information about the cocktail party check out : http://140confiw10.eventbrite.com/?ref=esfb  . Highly recommend following @jeffpulver ,check out the website- www.140conf.com and follow the #140conf "hashtag" -and if you're around and able to-check out one of his meetups,or conferences,or if you're local -come to the cocktail party-follow the link for ticket info !

'til the next time. Always at your service.
